Coniston '24 Map

Clip in for a flowing Lake District loop that starts on the quiet lanes of Oxen Fell. We drop into the Yewdale Valley past Yew Tree Tarn and the rocky shoulder of Ivy Crag, opening wide views and an easy rhythm.

Rolling into Coniston beneath the Old Man of Coniston, we begin a full circuit of Coniston Water. Skim the lake’s northern tip, then settle onto the eastern shore through High Nibthwaite and Water Yeat. Swing around the southern end and head back north along the western side via Sunny Bank and Torver—steady, scenic miles all the way.

We finish back in Coniston to close the loop. Match your resistance to the terrain and let this Oxen Fell–Yewdale–Coniston Water route bring classic Lakeland scenery to your indoor ride.
