Ride the beauty of Grasmere from your indoor setup—no travel required. We open with a fast drop down the notorious Red Bank, its steep ramps and tight bends delivering an instant adrenaline hit as we sweep into the storybook village of Grasmere.
From the village, we turn southeast toward the calm mirror of Rydal Water. Lush greenery and shoreline lanes set an easy rhythm as we spin along its reflective edge.
Heading further south, the route drifts through rolling fells and open pastures—quiet, rustic miles dotted with hikers and runners on the day’s busy trails. Swinging west, we thread Clappersgate and continue to Skelwith Bridge for classic views over the River Brathay and surrounding woodland.
Next up is the lakeside stretch beside Elter Water, where the surface glints in the afternoon light. Riding among walkers and fellow cyclists, we soak in this tucked-away corner of the Lakes before turning for home.
The finale is a punchy climb back over Red Bank, rewarding us with a last sweeping panorama before the final descent into Grasmere. With a mix of lively climbs, flowing descents, and serene waterside lanes, this virtual ride is a perfect escape—equal parts training session and Lake District daydream.
