Bring the Lake District to your trainer with a smooth, scenic loop. We roll out from the quiet lanes of Oxen Fell and flow down toward the Yewdale Valley, passing Yew Tree Tarn and the rugged shoulder of Ivy Crag. The descent opens wide views and sets an easy rhythm for the ride.

We thread into Coniston with the Old Man of Coniston watching over the village, then begin a full lap of Coniston Water. Turning east, we skim the lake’s northern tip and settle into calm miles along the eastern shore through High Nibthwaite and Water Yeat.

Rounding the southern end, the route bends north along the western side, through Sunny Bank and Torver, with steady lakeside scenery all the way back to Coniston to close the loop.

Whether you’re here for focused training or a mental reset, match your resistance to the terrain and let the landscape carry you. This Coniston Water circuit delivers gentle climbs, flowing descents, and classic Lakeland views—without leaving home.
