We’ve reached an exciting milestone—100 cycling rides on YouTube over the past two years! Celebrate with us on our 100th ride through the breathtaking Lake District, featuring the stunning Ullswater.
Starting at Dale Head, we climb through the serene Martindale Common, taking in peaceful hills and nature. Our journey continues past the historic St Martin’s and St Peter’s churches in Martindale, with views of Ullswater. We then descend into Howtown, enjoying views of the lake, before heading to the lively village of Pooley Bridge for a break.
The ride continues along Ullswater’s western shores, passing through Watermillock before reaching Glenridding, where we end our journey beneath the majestic Place Fell. This scenic route offers a perfect mix of nature, history, and tranquility, making it an unforgettable cycling experience.

The first major highlight comes as we reach the charming St Martin’s and St Peter’s churches in Martindale. Nestled against the impressive Hallin Fell, these historic churches offer a stunning view of Ullswater—one you’ll remember long after the ride.
