Join us for an exciting indoor cycling ride through the beautiful Cairngorm National Park in Scotland. Starting at the base of Cairngorm Mountain, this immersive ride will take you through some of the most stunning landscapes in the park, featuring scenic valleys, tranquil lakes, and dense forests.

Start: Cairngorm Mountain Descent

Our journey begins at the foot of Cairngorm Mountain, one of Scotland’s highest peaks. From here, we descend through the rugged terrain, with stunning views of the surrounding Highlands. The cool mountain air rushes past as we make our way into Glenmore Forest, transitioning from the barren mountain peaks to lush, green woodlands.

Loch Morlich: South Shore Ride

We soon arrive at the peaceful Loch Morlich, famous for its freshwater beach and beautiful surroundings. Cycling along the south shore, we take in the stunning reflections of the mountains and forests in the calm waters. As we ride, keep an eye out for local wildlife, including red squirrels and ospreys, making this part of the ride both scenic and serene.

The westward ride around the loch offers winding paths through the forest, with views of the loch on one side and the towering Cairngorms on the other. This area’s natural beauty creates a stunning backdrop, offering an unforgettable cycling experience.

Through Glenmore Forest

Next, we ride through the majestic Glenmore Forest, home to ancient Scots pine and birch trees. This lush woodland is part of the ancient Caledonian Forest, offering a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Coylumbridge and Turning East

As we ride westward, we reach Coylumbridge, a charming spot before turning east towards Loch Morlich. The route opens up here, offering wide, sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. The return ride is easygoing with gentle ascents, giving you the perfect opportunity to soak in the stunning scenery.

Completing the Loop at Loch Morlich

We finish our loop back at Loch Morlich, cycling through Glenmore and heading towards the eastern shore. Here, the sandy beach area offers a striking contrast to the surrounding forest and mountain landscape, providing a peaceful and picturesque end to our ride.
