Our journey begins at Tarn Hows, a tranquil tarn nestled in the heart of the Lake District, surrounded by rolling hills and lush woodland. We then head south towards Hawkshead, a picturesque village full of character. With its cobbled streets and whitewashed cottages, Hawkshead is steeped in history, including being the home of William Wordsworth. Next, we cycle towards Colthouse, a small village surrounded by peaceful countryside. Continuing through Low Wray, we enter a peaceful hamlet nestled in the woods. The tree-lined path creates a soothing, almost magical atmosphere, with the canopy overhead filtering the light and adding to the immersive experience.
