Join me on an unforgettable indoor cycling journey through the stunning landscapes of the Isle of Skye, one of Scotland’s most breathtaking destinations. Our ride begins high above the serene Kyle Rhea, where we’ll feel the rush as we descend into the charming village of Kylerhea.
As we approach the Kylerhea to Glenelg Ferry Terminal, take in panoramic views of the clear waters and rolling hills. After a peaceful ferry ride across Kyle Rhea, we make our way towards the stunning Bernera Beach, passing the picturesque village of Glenelg and the scenic Galltair with sweeping views of the Highlands.
Our ride continues through Glenelg, known for its beautiful beaches and dramatic scenery. From there, we cycle through the peaceful countryside of Eilanreach before tackling a challenging climb around the rugged Sandaig Peninsula. This stretch rewards us with spectacular views of Loch Hourn and the towering Beinn Sgritheall mountain, standing proudly at 974 meters.
We finish our adventure in the picturesque village of Arnisdale, overlooking the tranquil bay of Camas Ban with the majestic Beinn Sgritheall in the background. Whether you’re cycling for fitness or simply enjoying this virtual escape, this ride showcases the unmatched beauty of the Isle of Skye and Glenelg.
Let’s ride!
